The Olympic Dumbbell Handles are effectively a shortened Olympic Barbell enabling a lifter to load the barbell in the same way but in a dumbbell form factor. This concept is exceptionally important in home gyms or gyms where space is scarce and a variety of dumbbell weights are needed but the room and cost of an entire rack is not justified.
